Change 1: Complimentary Upgrades
Complimentary Upgrades to Club rooms, Club REGENT or Club InterContinental rooms / floors do not include Club Level amenities or services, e.g. Club Lounge access, free pressing, airport transportation, etc.

So, upgrades to Club rooms don’t come with ANY club benefits. Often, Cub rooms are identical to standard rooms. So, if you strip out any of the Club-level benefits, there is no upgrade.

Change 2: Welcome Amenity
Diamond Elite Members’ Welcome Amenity choice also includes Free Breakfast at full-service and select-service brands (REGENT, InterContinental, Hualuxe, Hotel Indigo, voco, Crowne Plaza, Even, Holiday Inn, and Kimpton)

Not offered at InterContinental Residence Suites Dubai Festival City or InterContinental Doha Residences

Diamond members are not eligible for complimentary breakfast for two at these hotels.

Change 3: Confirmable Suite Upgrades
Confirmable Suite Upgrades to Club rooms, Club REGENT or Club InterContinental rooms / floors do not include Club level amenities or services, e.g. Club Lounge access, free pressing, airport transportation, etc.

So, if you use one of the suite reward options from Milestone Rewards, the suite doesn’t come with its usual benefits, such as club access.

Ach aangezien er steeds minder Intercontinental Hotels zijn waar ik als Spire Ambassador naar toe wil maakt dit niet zoveel uit. Ik neem binnenkort afscheid van IHG zodra ik een goede besteding voor mijn 500k punten kan vinden.

Ik vind het sowieso vreemd, als je de hoogste tier hebt bij een keten, dat dan het ontbijt er bijna nooit bij zit.

 

Het ontbijt krijg je alleen niet bij InterContinental Residence Suites Dubai Festival City en InterContinental Doha Residences.

 

Bedoelde het eigenlijk meer in het algemeen.
